It all started when Dagwood (of sandwich fame) loaned Cliff Peters $50.
Blondie made him call in the loan, and Cliff was broke.
So instead of cash he got Ch. Chinup White Tie For Dinner...

Chinup was an OUTSTANDING show dog (a Champion, after all!)
But, he has one small problem, He falls asleep in the ring.

Of course, this whole situation causes Dagwood to end up in the dog house...

Anyway, the family pooch is not so sure Chinup is going to work out...

Blondie happens to know Chinup is a show dog and she comes across this ad...
(Don't you wish they gave cash for classes NOW!!!)
Notice, the show is June 5th and entries close June 2. (the good old days!)
Also 22nd Annual.... They started in 1919!

So Blondie enters Chinup and shows him herself (owner-handler?)
Of course a show dog must be well groomed!

AND, Well Trained!

And Loved !!

And if all goes well, you arrive at the show (benched, no less)

Who wins?... You really need to see the Movie!!!!!
